Product Overview

The cable fault locator uses the acoustic-magnetic synchronization method to locate the fault point of the power cable: the electronic flashover is generated by the impulse discharge generator, picked up and amplified by the probe, and accurate positioning is achieved through auditory/visual judgment. It integrates acoustic-magnetic time difference positioning, path auxiliary testing and other technologies, and supports multi-mode testing and prompts. It is suitable for power cables of different cross-sections and media, high-frequency coaxial cables, street light cables, buried wires (low resistance/short circuit/open circuit disconnection faults) and high resistance leakage/flashover faults. The technical parameters meet the acoustic-magnetic positioning standards in GB/T 18268.1 "Anti-interference requirements for test equipment for industrial sites" and DL/T 849.2-2019 "General Technical Conditions for Special Testers for Power Equipment Part 2: Cable Fault Locator".
