1.Product Overview
The cable fault location device uses the principles of vibration sound pickup and electromagnetic induction to accurately locate the cable fault point. The high-voltage pulse generator triggers flashover discharge at the fault point, and the generated vibration waves, sound waves and electromagnetic waves are picked up by a special probe, amplified and processed by the instrument, and output through audio-visual signals, ultimately achieving accurate positioning of the fault point within the rough measurement range directly above the cable.
The device is suitable for power cables, high-frequency coaxial cables, street light cables and underground wires of different cross-sections and media. It can detect low-resistance, short-circuit, open-circuit and broken wire faults, as well as high-resistance leakage and high-resistance flashover faults. The technical parameters meet the "DL∕T 849.2 General Technical Conditions for Special Testers for Power Equipment Part 2: Cable Fault Location Device" standard.
2.Product Features
The dual-probe positioning instrument uses the acoustic-magnetic synchronization method to generate electronic flashover with the help of an impulse discharge generator. The acoustic-magnetic signal of the electronic flashover wave is picked up and amplified by the corresponding probe to determine the exact location of the cable fault point. It has the function of indicating the fault direction. The dual probes are tested simultaneously to ensure the accuracy of the test results. It is used to accurately locate the fault point of the power cable.
3.Technical parameters
(1) It can synchronously receive the acoustic waves and electromagnetic waves generated when the fault point discharges to determine the location of the cable fault point.
(2) The direction and fault point are determined by the signal difference between the probes. It can solve the problem of accurate positioning under strong noise.
